What’s Going On?
This story, believe it or not, is the very familiar fable of Little Red Riding Hood. This curious version was written in 1940 by a professor of French named H. L. Chace, who wanted to show his students that intonation - that is, the melody of a language - is an integral part of its meaning. The words here are all common English words, but not the ones you’d expect to tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
Lots and lots of things go into my head. Too many to keep.
I know I can't keep them all; there's only so much space. But I'd hate to lose them forever -- that'd be like taking the same route home, every day, but never being able to remember it after. Instead, I'm saving the route here.
Think of the site as:- A venerable feast for the attention deficient.
- A vault that protects things from getting "run down by the drunken taxicabs of Absolute Reality."
- A smorgasborg. Always fresh. Continually replenished.
Feel free to snack or gorge. There's no shortage in sight.
Ask me anything Send me stuffThe point of this blog is not to rally together those awkward late bloomers or muster up enough confidence to express my inner most hurt feelings, and say “look at me now!” It is to explain the most truest definition of beauty and in the easiest, sexiest terms and that is simply, having the willpower to take over your health and your body and to tackle feats you never thought possible. I am lucky enough to have figured this out now. I am privileged enough to realize that I can take advantage of my body, to train and fuel it correctly for optimal performance. To understand now that beauty comes in many shapes and sizes. Strong is beautiful. Perseverance is breathtaking. Breaking your own boundaries every single day you step into your box is beyond sexy. And that is the only standard of beauty you should hold for yourself.
